Deja

Deja, a single mother of one, is currently employed in the health­care industry.  Prior to starting the CLIMB Program she was working, but unable to find employ­ment with a wage that would allow her to get off public assis­tance.  Today she is gainfully employed, sup­port­ing her family without public assis­tance, and is going back to school to further her career.


Heather

Heather was a single mother of three when she entered the CLIMB Wyoming program. Prior to that time, she was involved in some issues with the law and was unable to support her children. Today she is employed as a welder, is able to finan¬cially support and spend quality time with her children, and owns her own home. Heather loves her job and is looking forward to her future with her family and advancing her welding career.


Crystal

A single mother of two, Crystal had an incon­sis­tent employ­ment history and had been using drugs to help her cope with life’s problems. Through CLIMB Wyoming, Crystal received her com­mer­cial driver’s license and now is gainfully employed driving short-haul trucks for a con­struc­tion firm. Now that she is able to support her two children thanks to a job that she loves, Crystal looks forward to her future and growing in her career field.


Machelle

Prior to entering CLIMB Wyoming, Machelle was divorced with three children, a mortgage and a host of obstacles in her way. She was working at a con­ve­nience store making just $6.50 an hour. Now, Machelle just cel­e­brated her fifth year of working with her current employer – the same one with whom she was orig­i­nally placed by CLIMB! Her rela­tion­ship with her children has blossomed and she now supports them without public assis­tance. With her newfound sense of self and economic security, Machelle now has a bright road of opportunity.
