The “newest” site added to the CLIMB Wyoming team, the Sweetwater Area program was established in 2007. The program has trained women in such areas as short-haul truck driving and healthcare careers.
Outcomes
- To date, 71 families have been served through the Sweetwater Area program.
- The program has a 90% graduation rate.
- 49% of participants are employed in low-wage jobs prior to joining CLIMB; 83% are employed in higher paying jobs two years after program completion.
- Before joining CLIMB, participants’ average monthly wage income is $1,127.70, after completing CLIMB these women earn an average of $2,665.38

Bridget A. Giovale | Program Director
Bridget joined CLIMB Wyoming in 2009 as the Sweetwater Area Program Director. Prior to coming to CLIMB, she worked in community mental health and substance abuse education for over 10 years. A Wyoming native, Bridget spends her free time traveling, taking pictures, and cooking with her two boys.

Marilyn Vanderlinde | Mental Health Provider
Marilyn, a licensed professional counselor, joined the Sweetwater CLIMB Team in 2009. Prior to that, she worked for 27 years as a school counselor with School District Number One in Rock Springs. A former resident of Wyoming, Marilyn now enjoys living in Phoenix, Arizona, and specializes in distance counseling.
