Dear Friend,
Thirty-five years ago, I began a new program in Wyoming to help single mothers move from poverty to self-sufficiency. My approach was greatly inspired by the work of my own mom, Dr. Patricia Fleming, a psychologist who had a gift for helping those who struggle discover their true potential in life.
Today, Climb Wyoming still ignites the personal awareness, resilience, and power of single moms, leading to lasting and self-propelled transformation. At the core of my life’s work have been meaningful relationships, with the moms who drive our mission, and with you, our valued friends and supporters.
This past year, you helped Climb reach 1,100 families during a critical time when they needed us the most. It is with these families in mind that I share a visionary succession plan developed over the last three years with our Board of Directors. In the fall of 2021, I will step away as Executive Director to focus on sharing Climb’s expertise with other job training entities around the country.
Katie Hogarty will become Climb’s Chief Executive Officer. Alongside Katie, Molly Kruger will become Climb’s Chief Operating Officer. Katie and Molly have more than 20 years of combined experience with Climb and together with our talented staff and supportive partners like you, are poised for a seamless transition.
Climb’s future holds exciting opportunities to continue to elevate single mothers and their children out of poverty and into self-sustaining successful lives. Whether you’ve been with us since 1986, or have recently joined our mission, THANK YOU for your incredible commitment to our vulnerable Wyoming families.
With Gratitude,
Ray Fleming Dinneen, Psy.D.
