Career Opportunity: Statewide Grants Manager

Join one of Wyoming’s most innovative nonprofits as the Statewide Grants Manager. This position will collaborate with our advancement team to manage and execute foundation and corporate stewardship, grant writing, reporting, and research. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder with strong project management and writing skills. You’ll have a vital role securing grants that help families find success, reach self-sufficiency, and break the cycle of poverty for generations to come.


For 35 years, Climb Wyoming has helped low-income single mothers discover self- sufficiency through career training and placement. To date, the program has helped thousands of families reach self-sufficiency, the effects of which will be felt for generations to come. The basis of the Climb model is a job training and placement program, but there is more to permanent life change than getting a job. Essential elements of the Climb model include skills that ensure successful relationships on the job and in the home.


  • Excellent at tracking information and deadlines
  • A skillful communicator with strong writing skills
  • Experienced at building and maintaining relationships and identifying opportunities for collaboration
  • Someone who can think creatively and strategically for long-term results
  • Extremely organized with persistence and methodical attention to details

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in nonprofit or related experience

  • Reports to the Foundation and Government Stewardship Manager
  • Full-time 40-hour per week position
  • Salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits
