Sweetwater Program Update: Winter 2022

Though many of the participants in the Sweetwater Area’s recent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training were unemployed when they came to Climb, all of them have now started jobs in the community’s healthcare industry. These moms were hired into the workforce very quickly—a testament to their strong work ethic, compassionate caregiving, and willingness to quickly take on much-needed healthcare positions. During the program, the group received support in all areas of life, including group and individual counseling that helped them reduce the toxic stress of living in poverty and build skills for stability in work and life.

“Climb has helped us during the pandemic by training valuable healthcare workers who have ultimately been hired in our cardiology clinics throughout Wyoming. Every employee that we’ve welcomed onto our team has been an asset to our company.”
